71 swb truck I like on CL Phoenix..too high??

Hey there. I am so frustrated with my slime truck i have been keeping an eye out for another, and ran across this one in the exact colors I like. It seems high to me, but maybe I am out of touch? Guys care to comment on this one, and does anyone know this truck?

Seems to high to me. It could have possibilities though. Maybe one of the guys from the website that is in that area could go look at it for you. If its what you want make an offer.

Way too high in my opinion, keep looking and be patient. That would be a fair deal at half the price.

Yep, that's too high for me too. Agree, could be a good starting point, but yhou'd have too much in it before you start. It's a C10, not a Deluxe, or Cheyenne or Super that needs a little (ok, a lot) of work. I'd pass and look further.

Rust free original sheetmetal is the only thing that would make this truck worth the money.
Is it truely rust free?

Anymore,... That's the only thing I look for.
Everything else can be duplicated.

I agree, way too high. By the time you get it home you would be into it for almost $10,000. There are lots of better deals out there.

Re: 71 swb truck I like on CL Phoenix..too high??

Thanks for the responses all. No air was actually one of the thing i wanted, and have been discovering that southern trucks (naturally) almost always are a/c equipped. Still, it does seem high, and this is at least the second time in a year I have seen this truck for sale..most likely more times than that. So what would anyone guess it would be worth?

$3gs for it would be reasonable....that's way too high of a price for it as is though.

I bet there is more rust if the rockers have been replaced.

Re: 71 swb truck I like on CL Phoenix..too high??

If it is a genuine short fleet V8 truck that is solid and the bed isn't beat to death, I think it would be worth $4500 -5000. You would have at least 15 in it to restore it doing most of the work yourself, but the truck would be worth it in the end.
