rear disc conversion
i read some search results.but,wasn't feeling informed.anybody done it lately with pics?

I have, I'm using captain fab brackets, astro van AWD front rotors, wilwood d-52 calipers, disc disc prop valve, I'm also using front d-52s, stainless braided brake hose all the way around, and wilwood master cylinder

Is that setup a lot stronger than the stocks set up. do you stop faster with less brake fade and better proportioning?

Yeah good luck with you wilwood brakes. They don't back up their warranty on anything. Once they've got your money they're done with you.

that looks like a clean setup, what prop valve did you run? a wilwood, I see they have an sdjustable disc/disc. or did you just run a pre set?

I used the Right Stuff PV72 prop valve, DIY4x brackets, front calipers from an 85 C-10, rubber lines for an 85 C-10 for now, and the stock hydroboost master cylinder on my dually. All total I had around $350 in parts. I have pics on my 89 crew cab resurrection thread on this site.
