Does anyone know where to get those SB engine mockup's like I've seen on some TV shows? I also have seen polystyrene trammy's too. Where do I find them, how much?

I know what you're talking about. I remember seeing an article on them in an old Car Craft or something. This is all I could come up with. I don't think this is the manufacterer of them, just a vendor. Hope this helps.

Just did a search, found P-ayr products, long block is about $350, tranny is $250, too much!

Imagine the look on someones face when you bend over and lift one.

They have threaded holes and will accept any bolt-on parts.

You could buy a junk engine for a heckuva lot less

Heck, I sold a decent, 3,000-miles-on-the-rebuild 307 for a lot less!

I had an old block that I had to leave behind when we moved cross country, left it with a freind. I stripped everything out of it, then started drillin holes. I just left the drill there and the cuttin oil. then whenever the mood struck I would drill out a new hole. After a couple of years it was lookin very swiss cheesy. Dont know if it lightened it up all that much but it looked cool and was fun. I also had junk heads (heavy) and a stripped out turbo 350. Total cost was a twelve pack of beer! Wish I had them now. They were handy for mock-up.

I saw one of those at Autozone once.....it was sitting on a little stand that looked way to puny to hold a SBC...i thought it was real until i bumped into it and it easily moved, lol. They fooled me.....
