Headliner with stereo and speakers ?

Anybody tried using the headliner that LMC has in their catalog ? The one with the built in speakers , Can you mount a stereo in it and how good are the speakers ? It looks like it would be nice set-up. thanks

I HAD ONE OF THOSE HEADLINERS IN A TRUCK THAT I BUILT, & LIKES IT REAL WELL. I BOUGHT MINE THRU J.C.WHITNEY FOR AROUND $189. THE SPEAKERS WERE OK FOR ME, & SOUNDED GOOD TO ME, BUT I'M SURE THEY WOULDN'T BE NEARLY GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANY OF THESE 20 YEAR OLD MEMBERS, THAT LIKE TO SPEND $1000 OR $2000 ON A CAR RADIO THAT YOU CAN HEAR THUMPING 2 BLOCKS AWAY. I'VE GOT A SET OF KICK PANEL SPEAKERS FOR MY CURRENT PROJECT, BUT ONLY BECAUSE I WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I WOULDN'T HESITATE AT ALL TO BUY ANOTHER HEADLINER. I THINK THEY ARE MADE BY A COMPANY CALLED "HIGHLINER". JOHN

I HAVEN'T GOT THE KICKPANEL SPEAKERS IN THIS PROJECT YET (& PROLLY WON'T BE READY TO TILL MID WINTER) BUT I BOUGHT THE EMPTY KICKPANELS FROM THE TRUCK SHOP FOR LIKE $60, & BOUGHT SOME NICE KENWOOD SPEAKERS OFF EBAY (FOR LIKE $50) TO GO IN EM.
I HAD MY STEREO MOUNTED IN MY HEADLINER, & IT WAS NICE BECAUSE I ONLY RAN 1 POWER WIRE UP ALONG MY A-POST UNDER MY DOOR WEATHER STRIP, & INSULATED THE ANTENNA WITH DUCT TAPE, & LAID IT BETWEEN THE HEADLINER & THE ROOF.
SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT I'LL BE USING THIS SET-UP AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. JOHN
