Angelo
Alright boys and girls, looks like Sam is up to his old tricks and sends me this beauty. I think the door might say Augelo but Sam said Angelo and well it sounds better anyway so that's what it's called. LOL. 1968 O.G. paint 1 ton service body. This thing is sooo clean. It's on the block as we speak and I'm hoping to have him ready for the CPP show.
So here is the plan. Rip the 1 ton stuff out and do some CPP upper lower arms with some new 73-87 spindles and brakes. 1/2 ton diff with some springs and blocks. New engine and trans and maybe something special to finsh it off. Stay tuned and enjoy. |

Re: Angelo
Delmo's builds are fun as hell to watch, and the pace always keeps the A.D.D. crowd happy. To me, it looks like all Angelo needs is a good rubdown. I like this truck a lot as is, so it'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Re: Angelo
Shorten it and bed it, find some way to match that paint, and roll it. You az/ca guys suck. You could pick up a truck like that around here, IN CHUNKS. Minty green awesomeness. Have fun!

Re: Angelo
She has some history and a glove box full of docs. Originally purchased at Chapman Chevrolet in 68 by Angelo Scremin as a cab and chassis. It was sent to Auto Safety House (ASH) a local treasure for the upfit of the service body. The truck was a staple in Chandler collecting only 70k somth’n miles until a little while ago when Angelo at 83 took a dirt nap. She drove perfect until Del got his hands on her and then somehow she “lost oil pressure”. I think Mr. Scremin is haunting him.

Re: Angelo
Well I didn't want to say anything but now I better confess. Before I took it apart I took it to the Irwindale speedway and entered the figure 8 races. I was top 3 when the knocking started. Sorry man. I almost got a trophy.
