I will say that working with these was way cool, much better than the after markets, you don't have to remove so many spot welds and you can trim them to suit your specific needs.

Got pricing on the inner rockers - A set will be $150.00 plus shipping and will be made out of cold rolled steel.
Thanks for the info Randall. I'll be getting in touch with you when I get to that part of my build. Keep up the great work.

Installed final support pieces underneath cab, ready to seal, paint and undercoat. The roof is coming along well. Down to body work, getting closer, cannot wait to drive. Will be starting a new build thread soon for a "4 Door Suburban".

Great work. The B-pillar turned out really nice.

Can't wait to see some of these on the road around town.

this build is killer, the inner and outter rockers look like they should last awhile. Does the price of the finished cab include shipping? Wife and I are talking.

Re: 67-72 Chev Crewcab Build

Ok guys rounding third base.

Lot of details, been working on the inside of the cab. Decided to do a spray-in liner for sound deadening as well as rust prevention, though it will never be seen I colored it dark olive and I would have to say I'm very impressed with this product. In addition I sprayed underneath the cab with undercoating which also acts as a sound deadner.

You will notice I gave great detail to the front of the bed between cab and bed, did the the same with the cab. I'm not planning on ever showing this truck but just knowing that its that nice in places that people can't even see is great.

Truck is in the paintbooth now, will be in and out for the next couple of weeks. Have been assembling dash, mainly a/c system. Cleaning out the inside of the a/c housing and pretty much making sure everything is in clean and operable condition.

Have more pics but these are the ones I had time to put up.

Re: 67-72 Chev Crewcab Build

The engine in it now is a 1970 high nickel numbers matching 4 bolt. I just don't like orange motors. This is the motor for this truck. Every truck I own except for 49' coe has a four bolt 350 in it.

Re: 67-72 Chev Crewcab Build

Dark Olive is still my favorite OE color. Am I seeing 2 tone dark and light olive? I also noticed that you blended the truck floor into the Burb floor. How much of it did you lap and how did you close up the ribs? Are you just planning on using a regular truck seat for the rear?

Re: 67-72 Chev Crewcab Build

Yes olive is my favorite also, and yes you are seeing a two tone. Using this spray-in liner in the bed the side walls will be done in the light olive and the floor in the dark olive. The nice thing about this product is that it looks just like the paint but its rubberized texture. Yes I am planning on putting front and rear bench seats, dark olive with hounds tooth. The headliner will be dark olive as well be the dash pad. Dark olive 69-70 door panels and I have the dark olive loop carpet, it was interesting ordering the carpet. Not sure what you mean by the ribs and just call me to discuss that one. Will be jamming all the doors and door jams on Thursday. Outside is going to be the two tone, white roof, white center stripe with upper and lower chrome. Does anybody have a good source for non "offshore" chrome?
