rear stepside bumper??
hey guys i have a 72 gmc shortbox stepside 4x4 and the rear bumper that came with the truck was steel, and went out to the sides of the stepsside, what one is the correct chrome one? it seems like everyone i look at it different. when i look online it tells me there the same through the early 80's and i know thats wrong... anyone help.. picture? thanks for your time

I think that the stepside bumpers were the same until 1987. That is how they are listed in catalogs.

They are same rear bumper from 67-87 for the stepside trucks.
The fleetside trucks had a front and rear bumper change for the following years: 67-72 73-80 81-87
