Avoiding front wheel tilt - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm new to this lowered arena so bare with my ignorance.

I would like to be able to drop my '68 truck to the ground on a set of 20" wheels WITHOUT having the wheels tilt inward like they're going to break off. How is this done? I've seen a few pro trucks at shows and when they change from "ride height" to "ground level" the wheels barely tilt inward at all. A good example is Scott Lawrence's '69 GMC (accuair).
Is this a result of new A-arms or a unique placement of the A-arms.

What can you tell me about this?

This '67 has both the front Dropmember,... and the rear Trailing Arm Dropmember.

lowlife99 - what size wheels do you have on that ride?
How long does it take to air up the shocks once you've been sitting there all day with the engine off?

That truck belongs to n2billet from the site. The wheels are 22s. The speed of the system depends on the air system you use but it doesn't take long to air up, 5-10 seconds for an average system. Here is a link to the build thread for Hazel.

Actually this one has 22's all around.

The rise time on this truck is about 3 seconds from laid out to ride height
