6 to 8 fuel line question

I have a question. When I am ready to install a v8 into my 6cyl truck will I need to replace the fuel line with a larger line? I ask because I see that they sell two different fuel senders, one 3/8 and one 5/16. I have the 5/16 now so I am wondering if I'll need the larger 3/8 for the v8 which means I'll have to replace the metal lines all tend way to the motor. I will be switching out the 292 to a 327 sometime in the future and would like to know. The 327 will be stock with maybe a mild cam nothing to major. Thanks in advance.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

No. The 5/16 will work fine unless you are useing a high performance engine.

Re: 6 to 8 fuel line question

That's what I was hoping to hear. Just wanted to make sure I can just drop it in and go.
