Re: Brewing up some Pale Ale

It's coming along, thanks. Not like I was working at blazing speed, but it's really gonna slow down now. Bass fishing is cranking up and I've been working on getting my Allison in tip top shape. I've got a few tourneys and a trip to Lake Fork around the corner. I'll still get the ole Blazer a little closer to the ground and covered in a single color pretty soon.

Other than the welding, just really minor stuff left to do before I blow it back apart for paint. Me and a buddy made a trip to Gator Drag yesterday in the old girl. 180 mile round trip and she did a fine job. Couple pics with all the trim other than the side fender trim around the grill and headlight bezels. 6 more holes and it's installed. Also wanted to say that man, as long as goodmark has been stamping these fenders, you would think they would have gotten the curve of the hood right. Gonna take some metal magic to fix that.

I would have loved to seen this at Gator Drag! I'm the promoter of that show and I would've taken a few minutes to went and looked at it. maybe I will see it at Scrapin The Coast or Siknic?

It was there, but parked in the lot across from the show. I was there with Davey Thibadeaux. We may have talked to you.

Re: Brewing up some Pale Ale

That is sweet. I love the color I had a 72 stepside that color. Wasn't crazy about when I first got it but it grew on me. Plus EVERYBODY told me "nice old truck there". My 1970 2wd Blazer is in getting painted, but I ended up going with the Atomic Orange, on the new challengers. It was a 6 banger and 3 on the tree but now it is powered by a 70 402, turbo350, 3.73 rears. I went with the 68 front clip also. Bought the new lower side trim from mar K, Wow it looks good. The shop should be done prehanging all the trim this week, then paint next week. Love your wheels also, I want with the Americam Racing style.
