Brake line Loops near prop valve, what for?

Brake line Loops near prop valve, what for?

My rear line has like 5 loops in it, both my front have only 1 loop, gussing it was just done to take up slack or is there a real purpose???

Ill do it if need be, just don't have a fancy bender for that.

Not sure what those are for, been wondering myself for when I redo the brakes on my 63. They do make a fancy bender for that. It doesn't look like a traditional tube bender tho, they look more like pliers. I've heard they work pretty good.

I have always thought the curl was to reduce the shock at the fitting on the brake lines(so they can flex and not leak) cheers, Pat

Correct - both during assembly and in use.
