Who has best price on burb seat covers?

Most catalogs etc do not mention the price for burbs. I got a price from PICKMUP but wanted to see what else is out there.

Re: Who has best price on burb seat covers?

I have found the selection for burb seat covers to be pretty slim, so be ready when you do find a vendor that can accommodate.
Usually I see covers that are 71-72 vintage, and are set up to be cross referenced with the Blazer back seat for your two burb rear benches.

In my case, I am having to go to an upholstery shop to get mine made up with material I am buying from SMS.

Most every vendor has their seats manufactured at "truckworld" . If they want to give you a price, all they have to do is call them for a price. The vendor truckseats on this site seems willing to call in for a price on most anything.

Re: Who has best price on burb seat covers?

I am currently restoring a 72 burb with 3 bench seats. I did ALLOT of research on getting replacement covers matching the original with the correct scrollwork. I bought all 3 of mine from carsinc. They were not cheap but I am VERY happy with them - exact replacements with backs - fit perfectly.

BB72CHEVKT, well it has been a couple of days now with not much feedback here so I can try and add a little input, I would need to know the year/style of cover that you are after along with what seat configuration your burb has. The below pictures are showing three seat covers that I just had built for a guy here in town, he has 70 burb with the full front bench and the short 2nd row and then the 3rd row, which is also the same seat the blazers/jimmys had. I believe this style of 69/70 scroll short bench covers are not listed in any catalogs for the Suburban/Blazer owners, and like Vectorit said above you will usually find the 71/72 stuff offered when talking short benches. Truck world is hoping to have the narrower 69/70 scroll style inserts for these shorter burb/blazer seats at some point, but for now this is all that available (pics 2 & 3) if you are going for this look on the short benches. This 69/70 style full back front bench in all vinyl came in at $325. and the the shorter matching rears were $300. apiece. If you are after the 71/72 style scroll (see last pic) in all vinyl then you can knock $20. off per cover from the two above prices as the 69/70 stuff is a bit more. Mel

Yes oldblue60, there are a lot of other color & material options available, here is your basic 71/72 sample ring. Mel

Re: Who has best price on burb seat covers?

Thanks very much for your input Mel. This is for my 71 with a 3 seat set up with a short second row seat.

Re: Who has best price on burb seat covers?

One oddity that I have found with Burbs that have only the wide second seat, it is actually about 3 inches narrower than the front bench seats are (approximately 57" as opposed to about 60") . Therefore, when I am ready, I'll have to have a cover custom made as a conventional bench seat cover won't work. I have never seen a repop cover offered.
