Need help with wilwood master cylinder....

I purchased the Wilwood tandem master cylinder and proportional valve from summit. I was about to connect all of my break lines up this weekend and was reading up on wilwood master cylinder.... from my readings it looks as if I do NOT need the regular GM style proportional valve. I will need the adjustable valve only on my rear lines. Is that right?

So I should be able to tie the two front break lines directly into the master cylinder?.... then tie the two rear breaks directly into the master cylinder but install the adjustable pressure valve somewhere along the frame rails?

I threw this together in photoshop.... does that look right?

You've got it down! I'm running the exact same set up on my '71. Are you running a booster or going manual brakes?

I plumbed one of these on the frame.
Adjustable, 2 front ports and 1 rear port, for brake lines,... and a brake light sender.

Yea I will be running a booster. Dude you live in sturgis? How awesome is that!?? A couple of my buddies and I have always wanted to ride our bikes out there but we have never been able to get the time off together. That's on my bucket list so hopefully one day!!

Keith is there any issue or rule of thumb about where the prop valve/block is place.

Im assuming it doesnt matter placement due to the pressure in the lines, but didnt know if there was anything about the prop valve being at a lower point in the system than the calipers etc to watch out for

Keith what did you use to bend a flare all your lines that looks good. Also did you have to put some type on the back of valve so the know would not hit the frame?

No issue.
The 73-87 trucks had the factory prop valve mounted on the frame's radiator support crossmember.

The issue comes when you mount the M/C lower than the calipers.
(like the under floor "frame mounted" M/C that the street rod guys use)

I just used a "Ridgid Brand" tubing bender.
There is a spacer behind the Prop valve.
This made it easier to work the adjustment knob.

cool man. what about flaring tool? have you ever used the eastwood flaring tool they have its like 200. very nice.
