Barn Find Big Stash - Hood #3

Here's another awesome hood for 62-66 trucks - it is 250.00, and is in its factory light blue bondo free paint. dent free and NICE! compare to 300+ on Ebay for a hood like this - might can ship Greyhound but best to come get it here in Alabama. It has a few paint bubbles in the nose where they all do, but no holes. Same with the rear pass corner of the outer skin - a few bubbles but no holes. No sway in the hood either. Nice Black un-rusted underside w/ no rot ever in the crossmembers - NICE like I said - if you can find a hood like this that is as nice for less then by all means buy it....

Did you mention earlier what shipping on Greyhound would be and I missed it?

shipping on Greyhound is subject to where its going - you have to identify the nearest GPX station - go to www.shipgreyhound.com to check your state

Re: Barn Find Big Stash - Hood #3

SO I have a question if you don't mind me asking?

If you ship one of those hood via GreyDog, do you wrap them somehow or just slap a sticker on the inside and that's it?

I need to find a way to ship one and have no clue what I need to do.

I'm not sure they'd take it if it wasn't packed in some fashion. I shipped a door a while back and managed to find a great big box that it would fit in. You would probably need to cut up some boxes and wrap it in cardboard and tape it up before they'll accept it. From what I gather this stuff goes in the belly of the bus so it needs to be somewhat "square" so it will stack in there with the other items. You might find your answer here also:

McCoy, I ship em bare metal w/ shrink wrap over them and that is all.....I send them COD so the buyer only pays me what I want for the item, and then they pay Greyhound at the station when it gets to them...easier that way and simpler for the buyer too....
