Question Bumper brackets?

Hey there...was wondering if brackets off a rear bumper for a 67 shortbed two-wheel drive will fit my 72 4x4 Blazer? Is there some way to make them work if they are different? Thanks.....

blazers don't really have bumper brackets in the rear, they bolt directly to the frame horns, where truck bumpers bolt to the brackets which are bolted to the frame. in other words "no". you don't need brackets on the blazer.

You can use the rear outer brackets off the 67 for the blazer rear outers. The blazer/jimmy doesn't have any rear inner brackets, the rear frame horns serve as the inner brackets.
