Well my dream came true sort of . I got my truck back that I kick my self for a thousand time for selling so one of my dreams was to get it back . I promised my self if I was to ever get it back I would do what I was going to do when I first got it and that is adding all the factory options I could find or afford and drive it . Well I have started doing just that . I installed the tilt last weekend . bought a factory tach off the bay Thursday and I have hit Randy up on so more chrome and other parts .It just take time and money, which I have neither

Mine would be a 67 long bed,Dropped 2.5/4, twin turboed stroker LS1 with a T-56.4 wheels disk, narrowed 9 inch with 4.10's and a spool,31/18.50/15 slicks,Weld pro stars,Make the body straight as new with Black paint and silcer down the sides like on the RS first gen camaro's.

Either that or a 72 K20 on 39.5 boggers and a built blown 454 with dana 60's front and rear,4 speed,4 wheel disk.

I want them all!

OK, you are killing me here! You can never have too many of these trucks!...but I just like clean dependable trucks with nice paint & interior. Something that you can jump into and drive for a couple of days without having to fix them...not too wild, so you can build them yourself with basic tools. The chopped, flopped, bagged & dragged show trucks are great, but I specialize in trucks & parts that the average guy & gal can build in the back yard or garage...bolt them together in a reasonable amount of time, for a reasonable cost, then drive then and enjoy them.

I guess I don't really have a 'dream truck' set in stone.
I would like to modify my GMC as follows:
Dana 60 front axle, w/ powerlock
Stock Dana 60 rear axle, w/ disc brakes and Detroit locker
4.56 gears
35" tires (dunno what kind yet)
6" lift, raised steering arm
braided stainless steel brake lines
rebuild original 350 to roughly 350 hp/400 tq *OR* swap in a 396
ceramic coated headers
2.5" dual exhaust, H-pipe, dual flowmasters exiting in front of rear wheels
swap in Clark 5 speed OD tranny with custom gearsets
use a divorce mount Rockwell T-211 behind the tranny
1310 or heavier u joints all around
fix all rust through, remove dents, and paint 2003 Monte Carlo yellow
better stereo
67-68 CST buckets
FIND SOME FRIGGIN TOWHOOKS
thats all I can think of for now.

If I could go back in time and order any truck brand new, it would either be a '71 K20 Cheyenne Super, blue/white, marker lights, 4 spd, 350, tilt, tach, no-spin, front posi, towhooks, a/c, etc etc
OR
a '71 K20 Panel, 292, 4 speed, tach, towhooks, no-spin, front posi, etc etc
