K-10 Tire Size
I'm looking for the stock/period correct tire size for my 72 K-10 Cheyene 4x4 with 15" rims. Any help or direction would be helpful

Re: K-10 Tire Size
I was in pursuit of this info a few years ago and this is what I found. The K10 came standard with G78 which is a 235/75/15 in a radial. Unless on your SPID you had L78 which if I remember correctly is the equivalent to a 30x9.50x15.

Re: K-10 Tire Size
Try this. Standard and optional tires for '72 C & K/10 pickups

Re: K-10 Tire Size
Funny I just realized how expensive the 10.00x16.5 tire were at $439.95. The base price of a KE10(V8)was $3700.00. For that same money you could have ordered Cheyenne Super trim, two tone paint, posi, tow hooks and still have money left over. Even A/C was cheaper! Would you pay about $3,000.00 for steel wheels and fat tires on a new truck today?
