Automatic Transmission Conversion Question

For a variety of reasons, I'm converting my 64 C10 to an automatic transmission, specifically a TH350. I found a pretty nice used 60-66 auto steering column with all the linkage. The only thing I'm lacking would be the lever that bolts to the shift selector on the side of the transmission. Has anyone ever changed one of these trucks from a Powerglide to a TH350 or TH400? Did you use the stock linkage? If so, where did you find a lever to bolt to the TH350 or TH400 that worked with the Powerglide linkage?

Thanks for any assistance or insight you might have.

What I did with my TH400, is not use the factory linkage. I just made my own arm to bolt to the trans using part of a factory lever. Then I made a rod that connected the lever on the stock column to the lever I fabricated. It took a little trial and error, but it works just fine. I know not everyone has the means to fabricate something like this. I believe Lokar makes a kit that will accomplish the same thing.

I have an none stock steering column in my 66 with a turbo 350 tranny, I bought the cpp linkage and installed it, but the problem Im having is that when I shift it into drive the indicator is no where near the (D) as well as any of the other indicators (R) (D) (1) (2) nothing lines up not even close. I have followed the instruction that came with the linkage but it still doesnt line up. do you have any thoughts? I know its something simple that I have missed. Any thoughts?

I have changed countles of these..... The 67-72 shifting linkage is perfect for this

It sounds to me like the length of one of the levers needs to be changed. Either the one on the column or the one on the trans.
