1967 Panel questions
Forgive me if this is already on the board, the search function is still down
I am looking at a complete 67 Panel truck, less engine and transmission but otherwise complete with blazer seats. It is rusty. What is the value of something like this? I know the 67 Panels are pretty rare to begin with? Thanks, Joe |

I don't believe rare means much in this case. The major parts are missing and the vehicle is rusty. It will take a lot of time and money to restore it so what I perceive from your description is a $200 to $300 project.

if you are interested, i think you got a really good deal! looks like she needs some work....
but in springfield, i visited this antique car dealership place, where they had two panels --- and both are really overpriced (as most of the stuff there was) - regardless, i think you got a great deal! here are some pics of the other panels... the prices and years are on the windshields.... jewels.

Well, brought rusty home tonight. The more I look at this thing and research panels on the web, the harder it gets to think about parting it out!
I'm not finding much info on the 67/68 Panels, can anyone post some useful URLs? Thanks, Joe |

with as few panels that where made in general I think you would make a lot of enemies on this board if you parted one that is still savable.

sure, but i will warn you, all of the board members who have seen that black panel in person say that it is really really rusty, and not worth the money that he is asking.... apparently, the panel has been sitting there for years....
anyways, you should *definitely* go look at it in person before even *thinking* about purchasing it... www.countryclassiccars.com is the site where you can get more info about both panels and their illinois location.... good luck! jewels.

Asking price and selling price for those panel trucks at Country Classics are probably very far apart;
Chances are if a man pulled in there with a truck and a trailer and some cash on the hip he would come away with one of those panels for a fair price; Money Talks and BS walks
