Spotted a "Dually" last week

The truck was in the Classy Chassis parade last week here in Wenatchee. Ive seen it around town a few times...maybe a board member?

Kinda cool. But think a long bed would have looked better.

Re: Spotted a "Dually" last week

Nice looking truck, although a shortbed 1t is kinda silly to me. I'd like it more as a longbed. I wonder what rear is under that? It must have a back section done on it and a narrowed axle. A lot of work, for sure.

Well, it is different alright. Don't imagine he does any real hauling with it. Had to be a lot of work to get that look.

The center section looks like a GM 14 Bolt to me.

You can tell by the hubs its a Cab & Chassis rear...still not sure how he got all that meat inside the wheel wells.

Re: Spotted a "Dually" last week

tub it, narrow it to work with stock trailing arms and duallys would fit fine under it...w/ the right back spaced rims.. duallys no wider than my 31x18.5 tires i had under my 71 prostreet....

i like it !!

Re: Spotted a "Dually" last week

That's what I'm saying must have been done (and maybe more). A cab & chassis rear will leave the outer tire out from the body about 2". You can't mess with back space on dual wheels cuz they have to fit together.
