Woodgrain or aluminum dash inserts?

I hope I can explain this right.....

I am looking for the three woodgrain trim pieces (cluster, ash, glove) but I am looking for something thicker then the traditional "mack tac" applique that everyone sells

OR

aluminum ones that fit overtop of the stock panels, but not the ones that replace the gauge cluster....

I want to paint the with a textured finish to match other things (trust me, it looks good) but want it thicker then the applique (that and I did the ash tray one already and it looks like crap and hard to get the air bubbles out)
