Help.... Ignition Switch Bezel Removal
I'm trying to remove the ignition switch bezel. I began turning the bezel and it is now sloppy loose. but it won't come off the switch assembly. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Get a paper clip and straighten it out.
Insert key in ignition switch and turn counter clockwise. Insert paper clip into small hole by the key hole. With one hand, turn the key further counter clockwise while depressing the paper clip with the other hand. After some wiggling, the lock cylinder will pop off in your hand.It may take a few tries. After that, the bezel will unscrew easily, and all the way. |

Indeed it fell right in my hand.
Damn, I have been dicking with that for over 1/2 hour. I always wondered what that little hole was for. Thank you much. |
