My 83 Chevy....Progress build......
Bought this 83 chevy lwb truck about a month ago. Figured since everyone now days are fixing up swb rides, Id fix up a lwb LOL. She was in rough shape. Floor pans, rockers, Posts, Inner doors were all rusted and needed to to replaced or repaired. So far i've put down about 2k and thats just for bodywork. As of right now she's all fixed up "body wise" with a shaved tail gate and rgetting interior done now then suspension,upgrade in motor a few other body mods etc. Ill update this everytime she gets work done. Here's some before and after pics. When i got her The Nasty thing called rust "Under the runner or what ever u call them, I could stick my hand threw. You can see the wholes in the floor some what... Brand new hood Primed and ready for paint -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As of today. "6-11-12" "Not to many pics of after but i will update with more pics as the progress continues. The Truck...."Rear window was replaced with 1 solid piece" Thanks for checking out my ride's progress |

looks like the wreck i started with and turned into a show truck..its great to see more longbed fans.. so what are your plans for the rest of the truck and the final color choices?

It was looking bad. Inside the cab has a lil more to go. A few patch panels and wiring. As far as color. I honestly dont know right now. Im kind of liking the flat look. So maybe a flat color or just leave it flat black. Not sure yet. As far as suspension, It will be dropped 4/6 with original wheels. Dont really like huge rims. N interior will be black anc grey leather. It will take some time but she'll get to were she needs to be.
