Hey, I grew up in Galt. I was back there last fall for a wedding. Lots of memories there, but it would be tough to move back after being out west for 30 years!

I picked up a set of new Patriot ceramic coated headers for Fathers Day, after spending the day with my boy at the car show. Was a beautiful sunny day and my bald head shows it!

Re: fathers day gifts

Where I live did not exist 30 years ago, as far as a neighborhood is concerned. We are in what is referred to as north galt, between franklin, and townline, off of saginaw. Headers eh? I got a dang book, you suck

Tim,
Thats the best gift, I lost my dad a while back and miss the hang out times'

I think Darrah had a lot to do with my present since we have her rockers on the way.

Anyway they picked it up at Tractor Supply.

Re: fathers day gifts

No items for the truck, but I did get something to "recharge my battery".

Father's Day package at the spa, which includes 90 minute massage and a Gentlemen's Pedicure.

Re: fathers day gifts

Haha. I never have been but that all changed on a recent trip to Vegas. When done at a spa, it's very relaxing.

Don't get me wrong, I would have rather had the cash put in my truck fund, but I love the thought that my family put into it.

Re: fathers day gifts

set of side pipes for the longbed. My son asked what he could get me for father's day day ,so I told him and his friend asked '' are you serious'' I said yes and they got my Speedway book out and ordered them.I didn't know it.

Here's the kicker, his friend lost his dad about 4 years ago to cancer.Him and my son were in school together from kindergarden to graduation and he asked could he call me dad also, what can you say when they ask you that when they think so much of you?

Didn't mean to hijack thread but I had to get it off my chest. His father was mean to him and his mom.
