I have struck a deal on this truck dont have it yet it's being delivered to me next week , my son wanted my 67 but I just figured I better keep mine and just buy him his own

he want's to just leave the old faded original paint alone on this one I will fix it to run good and be reliable for him and he want's it lowered , we are gonna just put new tires on the stock wheels and lower it , I think it will make him a cool first truck ! I first thought it was a 50th anniversary model ? but it may not be ?

Oh what a great first truck! I think you AND your boy will have fun working on it! I may have missed it, but what engine is in it.....another 6?

The only thing I would do different from your plan is add the CST side molding and chrome bumpers, it would look killer with that nice original paint!

...and where did you find a truck that nice up in the rust belt???

this truck has rust it is not a west texas truck LOL , it is up near winchester va it came from north carolina originaly it is a two owner truck its got more rust than my 67 had but nothing like a truck from here in the near area I live ,

he already beat you to it , he wants all new emblems new bumpers and new cst chrome and custom wheels probably torque thrusts , it has rust but Im only going to replace floor pans / cab supports if needed not going to repair any of the outer body for now , truck is 6 cylinder 3spd on column 95K original miles , it needs a gas tank the guy said the tank is rusted inside , I have one or nine good tanks will put a nice tank in it first day , it dont run

will see about getting it running
