Window assembly sequence

I have been searching for information this morning on the assembly of the window behind the drivers door on my '69 Suburban. I don't have a clue on this one since the truck was in a million pieces when I bought it. I can probably figure out the main window but the stationary 1/4 window, two piece upper channel sections, and glass channels I'm not so sure about. What goes in first and what goes in last on the assembly of this unit? Any assistance, tips, or links to threads/posts greatly appreciated.

Would it be in the assembly manual maybe? That would be the first place I'd start looking. Then move to the service manual, for the disassemble sequence; the reassemble will be the reverse of that. If that fails, maybe try a Chilton or Haynes manual.

First place I started looking too. Great reference as far as where the parts go but nothing as far as what order they go together. Same with the service manual. Neither even mentions the 2 piece reveal moldings.

I just did mine about 6 or so months ago. I actually had the fixed window in first and managed to squeeze the operable glass in without any damage or scratches, but wouldn't do that the next time. This is how I would do it knowing what I know now:

install forward glass run metal bracket (assuming you took it out)
install window regulator
install operable glass
Install fixed window and weatherstrip
install division bar (between fixed and operable window)
install glass run felt top and side (front)
install wipers/scrapers

My biggest challenge was the front/side glass run felt. I started installing from the top down with the window all the way down, then you push it in as far as you can go (and run int the glass). Then I rolled the window up and past the point where I had to stop (can be tight, don't break your regulator!) and pushed in the rest of the felt now below the glass.

Don't know if you did it yet or not but I found this in the Assembly Manual section 18-19:

Body Side Window Assembly (Roadside) and Front Stationary Window- Suburban (Figs. 54 & 55

Statioary Glass Replacement
1. Wind window to full down position.
2.Remove hand controls and trim panel
3. Remove cats and whiskers and rubber stripping or seal.
4. Remove one upper door attaching screw and two lower securing the window divider run.
5. Pull downward on run and forward.
6. Remove stationary glass with rubber seal attached, and remove run by pulling through a glass opening.
7. Reverse procedure to install.

Still not installed... Not sure how I missed that, but I did. I was going to try and get it done for the Des Moines, IA GoodGuys this weekend but that isn't going to happen. I have a couple of other vehicles I can take so it isn't a problem anyway. Thanks for your post.
