I've never used these but sounds like it could help but I would think that if that screen ever came loose with the vacuum pulling in on it that it would cause more damage than good. I would get some quality Fel-Pro's and get a carb riser. The carb riser helps blend the air fuel mixture better and much safer to use.

One way to look at it,
GM tries very hard to get all the power/mpg out of a engine 'cause of fEderal laws regarding fleet fuel economy. They also know more than anyone on earth about how to do it. They don't use these. I personally think that mixture speeds are not high enough to realize any benefit and they most definitely WILL slow down your mixture (which is not good), Use these Fel-Pros, |
