110 Volt Alternator
When Dad was going to college, one of the instructors showed him how to take a normal alternator and make it put out 110 volts. He tried this himself and it worked. The only problem is, that was 20 years ago and he has forgot.
Does anyone know how to make a 110 volt alternator? |

Re: 110 Volt Alternator
They make power inverters that do essentially the same thing. You can buy them for $25 or a lot more - here is one example:

Re: 110 Volt Alternator
I don't need 110 volts in my tuck. I just have a spare alternator and would like to try it.
