60 2 ton

Hello, Please excuse me if this has been asked before. I searched but didnt find anything. Im looking at buying a 60 chevy C60 for the cab (not fenders). I have a project in mind and need some info. My first question is are the cabs the same on the C60 and the C10-30. I realize that the fenders are not.

My project is a 1ton 4x4 1960 truck on a suburban frame.

2nd question is are the hoods on C60 and C10-30 the same as long as they are not the sub nose version.

Thanks in advance

Re: 60 2 ton

Welcome to the forum

The cabs on the C40 and up trucks are essentially the same with a couple exceptions. One, they don't have a hump in the floor for the trans like the C10-30's do. They also have an extra brace across the lower firewall, and the mount for the inner fender is different. The hoods are all the same, except for the LCF truck hoods as you mentioned.
