Nice 67 Shop Short at the show last Sunday

I really liked this 67 at the Tri-Five car Show last Sunday. Air cab with no air parts in the cab and under the hood left, but super solid and straight. Lowered with spindles and springs. No inner fenders on it right now - has some pretty big meats on it. Front manual disc brake conversion. Tonneau cover on the bed so I couldn't see if it was used up. Patina look matte paint work. I really liked it.

I like it. I think the patina might be fake, but that doesn't matter to me. I would be happy to park it in my driveway. One of these days i'm going to do a truck like this for my construction side business. Thanks for sharing

Yes the owner painted it and then sanded through and aged it.

Re: Nice 67 Shop Short at the show last Sunday

I talked to the guy that used to own it at the Charlotte GoodGuys event back in October. It is a nice, solid truck. He said, at that time, he hadn't had it on the road very long and wanted to enjoy it some before selling it because he had several offers that weekend at the show. That was on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, he walked up grinning real big. I asked where his truck was, and he said he just sold it. He said the guy was real serious and made a cash offer he couldn't turn down.

He hung out for a minute or two, then said he was going "shopping".

It's good to see somebody kept the shop truck theme on it.
