6 lug to 5lug questions
my son's 70 gmc is 6 lug and I want to convert to 5 lug with disc brakes, are there any cheap options to be able to do this? what junk yard finds can I use to do this? also can I get axles from a newer truck and drums from that truck as well and just use them or are the lengths different on the newer trucks.

Re: 6 lug to 5lug questions
you could find a 72 Chevy/GMC truck and take the entire front, easy job and you know everything fits

Re: 6 lug to 5lug questions
Alot of guys in the 70's used to do that. They used to paint alot of the truck plumb purple and throw pontiac motors in the c10's and 20's
Check out my Build mine was one that had been done that way http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=529355
