60-66 trucks at car shows!

Well since I goto car shows and try to take pictures of our 60-66 trucks for you guys and my thread's always gets moved to the regions section if i put the name of the car show in the title, even if the thread is 60-66 truck specific with no other vehicles pictured but 60-66 trucks! im starting a thread of 60-66 trucks i take pictures of at shows and putting it all in this thread so hopefully the forum police dont move this since its going to be nothing but 60-66 trucks, I dont know how many more times i have to put "60-66 trucks" in this so that it stays in the 60-66 truck section, heres the pictures of the most recent show "midnight mass" which is a traditional 64 older show , no billet, big rims things like that , there were tons of our 60-66 trucks there i didnt even get pictures of them all , I got to see the other local 60-66 truck guys here on the forum which is always cool to shoot the breeze with maybe some of them took pictures also, heres mine these were all picture taken while the show was still early and opening up it goes from 4pm to midnight so by 9pm there were even more trucks that showed up :

Thank's for sharing the pictures. Always nice to see what someone's doing somewhere else.

Picture 14, guy used a bicycle mirror and arm as a rear view. Very resourseful.

Re: 60-66 trucks at car shows!

There are so many nice trucks here, thanks for sharing. My favorite has to be the metallic/pearl orange one with the double beauty rings. I’ve never seen that done before – conventional beauty rings along with the hub cap beauty rings and topped with spiders. Common parts yielding a highly unusual and attractive result.

When I get a chance I probably have a hundred to post. LOL. Have to hunt them all down on my drives. I never posted many because they were always hidden in the regional forums no one really looks through.

Re: 60-66 trucks at car shows!

Tonight I went to "Sacramento kustoms hot rod shop's" 3rd annual open house car show and there were a couple trucks there:

Theres another car show tomorrow being put on by the "alley cat's car club" so I'll see if any other trucks show up to that one also...

Man I wanted to go to Midnight Mass so bad this year. Hopefully next year my truck will be in much better highway spirits and I'll be able to make it. Thanks for sharing the pictures though.

Hope you get it highway drivable would be cool to see you and your truck in person

Well went to the "alley cats" car show tonight it was a pretty good show meet my friend "Russian Joe" at his shop and then rolled out to the show this was parked at one of the shops next to my buddys shop:

And the ones at the show! There may end up being pictures of the same trucks that ill post in this tread since these are local shows and alot of the same cars attend the same shows:

This is "Don's" truck a local guy dont know if hes on the forum tho.

This truck is not my cup-o-tea but some of you may like it so I took some pictures of it, I do appreciate the creativity of some of the mods ,but there were spike studs everywhere which killed it for me:

couple asian guys and gal pulled up in this one which i thought was cool seeing more other cultures embracing the hot rod culture:

I liked this one alot:

thats it until the next show hope you guys enjoy this thread I started?

losthope

We don't have as many car shows here and not as many 60-66 trucks. When I do go to a show I bypass all the others and head straight for our series. This thread is like a virtual car show. Thank's for taking the time and for the effort you put into posting the pictures.
