I'm thinkin' that's a darn nice truck in a rare color. I wouldn't think you need to worry about dumping money into her at all. Congrats.

Welcome! Nice truck! The two tone paint is amazing! How much do you plan on lowering it?

Haven't decided yet, have been searching the forums and am thinking ill flip the rear and throw like 2.5 drop spindles on it. See where that gets me, can always switch it up later.

My thoughts exactly. If you do a wheel/tire swap, keep the originals in a safe place. Trucks of that era bring decent $$$ if they're old school looking.

X2. And not just because of value, these trucks are only original once and the more original trucks that go under the knife and get lowered, with aftermarket rims, etc, then they blend in with the pack of restored and modified crowd, losing some of what makes them so special.

Just my opinion, but if you really want a lowered/customized look, at least contemplate selling and buying a restored non-original truck to do it to.
