Suspension drop questions

I have a 1985 chevy c10 I lowered 4" up front with springs, and 4" out back with a flip kit. I just recently took a leaf spring out. I have 3 degree shims in it now. I was wondering if I should put in another degree or two. Any help would be great. Thanks

Buy a degree finder at your local hardware store.
You need to check the back of the trans in relationship to the rearends pinion angle.
That's the only way to know for sure.

Not sure 100% but from what i remember the opinion should have a 2-3 negative degree. Once more Im not a 100%. Im pretty sure somebody else will have the answer. Sorry its been awhile since I've dealt with the pinion angle.

I have 3 degree shims in mine. I get a little vibration when i start off from standing still then it goes away. Im never hard on the throttle so I dont worry about it. Mine is lowered 8" in the rear with flip kit and removed leafs. If i air up the back a little the vibration goes away. Next time I take it apart I might add a few more degrees in there.
