How to remove needles from gauge cluster??
I'm in the process of cleaning up the gauge pod with a new black and chrome bezel along with a good glass cleaning and I would like to freshen up the orange/red paint on the needles as they are faded badly. How do I remove them to paint them? Anyone have any pis of the process?
Thanks, Tony Posted via Mobile Device

It's an interference fit, on the speedo so gently pull it straight off. If the gauge face is in good shape, cut a slit in a 6" square of paper and slide it around the pin to use as a mask. No needle removal required. I'd do the masks on the smaller gauges.

What color should they be? More of an orange or red?
