Accelerator Pedal Linkage

My new rig was previously stripped of the accelerator pedal and all of the linkage. I checked a couple of on-line parts suppliers but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have an idea where I can source this?

You didnt mention year truck. I bought my replacement pedal and linkage (58 apache) from classic parts. I did have to buy new hardware since it didn't come with any.

Sorry, the year is 59.

I saw the pedal and rods, but I need the whole enchilada including the shaft assembly and brackets. Did I miss something on their site?

Hmmm...

I'm looking at the assembly manual, drawing 6-9.00, specifically, item 1) "3723534 Shaft Assembly." Is this the same part that you referenced, or am I looking at the wrong drawing for my truck? (59 Apache Panel) Or am I somehow out in left field?

this is from my 58, there should be a hole and a flat spot in the motor bump out for this to attach to
all you will need is a bar to connect the linkage to the carb
free, yours for the asking

It depends on what engine you have. The linkage setup is different from an inline six to a V8

Here is a low quality shot of the floor. I'll post a better one tomorrow. If that is the correct part I will gladly accept your offer.

At this point, there is no motor. It will either be a Chevy 350 or Mercedes diesel.

I have the one like orge in my truck. it is the stock v-8 setup. Here is what it looks like installed. I made the rod between the pivot and carb. The stock set up has a pedal with a pivot attached to the floor and pedal that clips into the pivot.

I need to take a look closer look at the truck tomorrow.

...and the possibility of the Mercedes OM6617 is pretty remote. It's not economically feasible to rebuild one, and the thought of installing a 20 year old junk yard motor scares me.

While I was taking the above pics I was told that a box of parts arrived with the truck. Below is one of those parts. It looks close to the assembly in that manual except for the piece with the rubber on it. This aperture is not shown in the drawing. Any thoughts?

the oval slot in the insulation is where this goes, 4'' above the other hole,
bracket was installed on the inside of the cab
truk was an original v8 truck

that would be your starter linkage for the 6 cyl foot starter
i tried to modify one to work with a v8, didn't work
