Removable center in floorpan on 4x4 trucks
I was checking out some of my parts trucks last night and noticed that on the 80,82,84 & 85 they all have the removable center section in the floorpan. It's the same on the standard and auto 4x4 trucks, but the 87 4x4 standard is not removable. Can anyone tell me why this is?? TIA

My '88 Blazer is the same way... which meant notching the floor to drop the SM465 out...
I guess spot welds were a bit cheaper than bolts? Lucky me I saved the removable trans tunnel from my '80 Blazer!
