I give up on webpages!

Tried to go to my webpage today, found out it's gone! Brinkster closed my account and deleted my files because I hadn't logged in in 6 months. DAYUM! Why does everything have to be a PITA?

There is a three years free hosting deal right now at www.1and1.com. I have not tried it yet, but what I have read says it is a legitimate deal.

Ocbaud's site (http://www.ocbaud.com) loads quickly, and the hosting is certainly cheap enough. Register your own domain, and then you have whatever email address you want for life... Godaddy.com is popular and cheap for registering domains.

I just registered there, low87.com, but the layout and navigation to manage the site is difficult to figure out. More PITA, but I'll get there.

I've always pretty much just used HTML, I guess it's about time I stepped out of the 90s and got a program.

I bet none of them paid one red cent for it. Well, maybe the time to download it from KaZaA.

I'm another Notepad person myself. I like to write my own html. Personally I don't like all the extra garbage Dreamweaver or Frontpage adds, especially Frontpage.

I use it at work. They wanted it, they paid for it. If you can get your hands on a copy you'll like it.

Dreamweaver is so good because it doesn't add all the crap that frontpage is famous for.

I have no desire to learn html, but if it works for you guys, that's great. I'm a hardware guy, not a programmer.

I taught myself HTML about 6 years ago, haven't really used it in about 4 years, so I've basically forgotten everything. I downloaded the free 30 day trial of Dreamweaver. I've got absolutely no desire to download the program off Kazaa.
