LMC fan shroud

I decided to go with the mechanical fan as my cooling option and got a LMC fan shroud. I just tried to fit it and the existing fan rubs on it. I didn't even think to check the fan size. It seems I have a 19 inch fan (if I am measuring correctly, tip to tip at its furthest point)

Before I go and order a 18 inch fan as I understand should have been in there, is there anything else should expect? Going to order a new fan clutch too.

Just going to order up this guy with a flex-a-light clutch

Any need for a spacer for a 350 stock application?

Thanks for the replies.

Re: LMC fan shroud

Thought about a good clutch fan for it.? I took off my steel solid fan and installed a clutch fan and Iam so happy I did. Robs less power is soo much quiter and moves more air.

Yes it has a clutch of sorts in it and when the temp goes up it will lock up and pull a lot of air through the radiator but untill then its a better way to go.
I think Summit and Jegs sell them.

Yeah the top link is for the clutch part then you need a fan for it, not sure they sell it. but I would guess so.
I pulled mine off a 76 impala with a 400 small block Chevy made them for a long time.

Re: LMC fan shroud

You mean like this one? How's this different from a standard fan replacement?

This?

That fan is made for a clutch,,,where as the fiberglass one is made for mounting on the water pump or water pump spacer

OK. Forgive my noob questions. I just did a little comparison and once I looked, it was glaringly obvious... I should do what I tell my kids to do and look with my eyes and not my mouth... hehe.
