Looking really good John. Like the badge and your paint color looks almost like a burnt med. bronze.

Thanks litew8 ! I always liked the metal, and earthtone colors. I wanted to go a bit darker than the factory copper color. I can remember learning to drive the 65' chevy truck on grandads farm. It was dark metallic brown/white. Ahhhh the memories.

Re: 68' Chevy c10

Oooops ! one small setback. I guess this spot had something on it, because the paint wrinkled up.I noticed it while I was painting the base coat. so I didn't clear this area. Repair underway !

This is what's left of the lower steering column bearing. Replacing upper/lower was in the plans anyway. Trying to decide to go with the factory lower or I think I've seen a brass bushing replacement.

If your talking about the lower bearing. I think it would be common, because it gets alot of water/road crud in it. If you have the column out. It's the perfect time to put new bearings in.

Thank you Sir ! Lucky for me color choice wasn't too difficult, because I knew from the start I wanted some kind of brown.
