Re: my 80 build
Peak HP at 3,xxx? That doesn't seem right. Cammed 6.0's keep building power well into 6,000+. Hell, even my little 5.3 with the baby LS6 cam was making power at 6,300 when the throttle was lifted.

Re: my 80 build
Great picture Aaron.
And to let the folks know, not only do you still have the inner fenders, but they are as smooth as glass, along with everything else under the hood. Great job! |

Re: my 80 build
yes plastidip on every bit of chrome, the wheels are buddy of mine and the nittos are another buddies of mine that came off his 2011 camaro, long story I opened my big mouth of facebook about a box stock 4th gen lt1 on street tires running 8.8s, I said haha lt1, he got but hurt and he wanted to run right now on the street for $200, so I said Ill run you the track, so my buddies said your going to spin nasty on your tires so one said if you can find some 20s you can borrow my 20" nitto 555r another buddy said my drive shaft is broke on my 89 some you can borrow my wheels

Re: my 80 build
Still lookin' awesome Aaron! I guess I'm the only one who dug the murdered out chrome! All I can say is that mine will be chrome free! (Whenever it gets that far along anyway!)

Re: my 80 build
thanks guys, went to track today ran my best every time 12.9 on cheap street tires, track was really sticky the first pass, this pass right when I got there just drove a hour and only let cool 30 mins, and did a massive burnout because i was for sure I wasnt going to hook I could of ran a 12.8 if the track stayed sticky
