Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
Thanks. It's for my '72 GMC,just haven't put it in yet. I was trying to come up with some sort of GMC medallion to fit into the Olds horn button, then got that GMC one for an option. I still want to use the Olds one,if I can come up with something.

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
I purchased mine from early classic enterprises (stan&mark) the fit was great and I love how small they are. Also they are period correct for our trucks. Cheers, Pat

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
Looks nice Z10.I just put the same wheel on my 69 c10{bowtie horn button}but not able to use button to honk the horn.It works fine till I snap on the button.Any ideas, anyone?I had to use my old horn contact kit because the new hub rubbed the column once the nut was tightened. Will get a pic up if need be.

If you have a chevy, the horn button looks like an exact replica of the ones that fit first gen camaros. It's cast metal with a brushed finish and the chevy bowtie in white, surrounded by red/white/blue. Of course mine is a GMC so, I ordered a nice brushed finished GMC emblem. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-GMC-Wheel-...item1e6b84acd5 and stuck it over the chevy emblem. I think it look really nice.

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
I stuck this http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-GMC-Wheel-...item1e6b84acd5 over the chevy emblem that comes with the kit.

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
Just a heads up for someone looking to get one for their truck ..
The comfortgrip reproductions are slightly different than the originals. They either don't have the slight bend at the end of the three spokes, or they're premature and bend before the slots are ended. The original comfortgrip slots end about 3/8ths before it starts to bend slightly..at about a 15 degree angle, before joining up with the wheel itself. Now you can be sure that if you buy one new or used, what you're getting is repo or original. J.

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
Thanks, I am gonna get one on the way. Hardware included too, or does the hub use some factory bolts? Mine is a Chevy, so I think it will look nice with the included button.

Re: "Comfortgrip" Steering wheel
I put these wheels on everything I own. I've been looking for a blue one for my crewcab.

My thoughts are use the repops for vehicles like our trucks and save the originals for the Corvettes, Camaros, Skylarks, and Cutlass.

Probably not the correct technical descriptions. 1. Horn contact ring 2. Small spring and metal horn contact plunger. (?) 3. Hub 4. Steering Wheel 5. Horn button connector (?) the part that the Horn button snaps down on. 6. Horn attachment screws 6 each, 7. Horn button connector screws 3 each ( I think) 8. Horn button. Follow this link for a pic of all the parts. http://www.classicindustries.com/camaro/parts/k620.html
