TPS Adjustment
87 Chevy Suburban 350/700R4 with factory TBI. I used to have the specific on how to adjust the throttle position sensor, but cant seem to find them. Can anyone help me out?
Got the voltmeter, but can't seem to find the proper voltage reading and/or the sequence for adjustment. Any help is appreciated. Geoff |

I'm pretty sure all 87's had non adjustable TPS's. I know the one on my 87 van was. It's just a matter of removing the old and screwing on the new one.

You can't. Everything is computer controlled. No adjustment you can do. You can't even adjust the idle speed. I can't stand the mess myself. I'm a hands on type of guy. I can't take it not being able to adjust anything.

Go to WWW.thirdgen.org It shows you how there. Plus everything else you ever want to know about tuning and modifying your TBI. Very cool!

That's it!. I just couldn't remember the voltage setting, but the process is pretty simple. Thanks a bunch for the help!
