Re: Normal verses Max AC?

I believe MAX recirculates the air, normal just vents in outside air

Re: Normal verses Max AC?

Correct, Max AC closes the outside air door and recirculates the air in the cabin,,,cools it down quicker and keeps it colder since the air circulating through the Evap is already cold.

Regular or Normal mode opens that air door and pulls outside air into the system.

If you aren't feeling a difference then you might want to check the outside door operation and make sure it's moving. Usually a vacuum diaphram that operates it. Bad diaphram or leaky vacuum line??? When they aren't operating the door generally stays in the outside air mode.

Yep.

If you have a hand held vacuum pump it's easy to simply plug that in,,,turn the air on and work the pump. Door should open and close and you'll feel/hear a difference in air flow.
