New guy with a new truck...
Hey everyone I just picked up this 1972 C20 lwb just a few days ago.
Its got a 350, 4 speed sm465 transmission, the rear end is a corporate 14 bolt out of a 93 chevy 1 ton, it is 2wd. I got her for $1900, was that a good deal? Sorry to sound ignorant, I'm 16 and dont know much about these trucks other than I love em lol. My neighbor has a 68 swb and thats what got me searchin. |

Re: New guy with a new truck...
Damn good price for a running truck. Let alone with a decent pant job. I'd say that's a nice find.

Re: New guy with a new truck...
Thanks guys. Just trying to figure out what look I want for it... the lifted 4x4 look, the lowered hot rod look, or the all original look. Leaning towards hot rod but any s suggestions (especially with pics) would be great.

Re: New guy with a new truck...
Excellent deal on that truck. I spent over a year searching for the "right" truck here in Texas. I never came across any in that good a condition at that price. No where near that price. Congrats on a beautiful truck and a great deal!

Re: New guy with a new truck...
You got a smoking deal on that truck.
If it was mine, I'd fix the A/C and keep it stock. However, what ever you decide, you came to the right place for advise. I don't think there are two trucks here that are the same. |

Re: New guy with a new truck...
Around here, any running truck under 2K is a good deal. Yours looks like it's in pretty good shape.
