Picked Up Some Decent Parts At The Salvage Yard Today
-
A complete 6 cylinder power steering setup, 6 cylinder HEI, nice working fuel transfer valve, & an aluminum bell housing. The power steering will go in the green '67 (picture below) and I will put the HEI in the extra 292 6 cyl engine I have. This was the greasiest engine I have ever seen. LockDoc

Can't beat great finds like that at the JY. I'd like to have a 292 powered something someday.

Oh man, you're lucky! I've been searching around for a power steering unit for my 250 6 cylinder and I can't find anything, so we have to order everything, especially the mounting brackets because we can't find anything.

Re: Picked Up Some Decent Parts At The Salvage Yard Today
I learned a trick a few years ago. Wet your hands and arms, then place a silver dollar dollop of liquid laundry detergent or dish soap in each hand. Rub it into your skin all aover, working it under your nails by scraping your arms as you work it in, also work it into your cuticles til its dry. When its time to clean up, if you wet your hands and arms, most grease will rinse off! THis works because the soap dries and blocks the pores in your skin from absorbing the grease.
