Simple question : how do I take the antenna base off

Can't figure out how to remove the antenna base from the cowl.

Do you have a pic of it? It should just unscrew. You might have to pull the cowl to get to the back side to get a hold of it while unscrewing the top side. A picture would help...

I can get one. Its the original antenna base, there is a jaw or something on the backside of the cowl. The cowl is off, also.

should be a threaded top (where the mast goes in). losen that, it should put slack on the 'jaw' on the backside, once you get enough slack the jaw should be able to be turned vertically to be pulled through the hole. if that makes sense lol. or you can cut the rivets on the sides of the jaw..that'll get her out too
