68 C10 on craigslist
It's about an hour away. Wondering if I should make the drive. Still 6 lug & drums front/rear. Needs different wheels etc. but I like it.

Re: 68 C10 on craigslist
Looks like they have the time and money in it. I would be asking more than $7K. I would say someone probably has at least $10k into it depending on how much restoration they had to do on it. Either way it looks like a great buy for $7k. Putting a disc brake kit on it, if you use a site like gmcpauls.com is about $700. Only thing that kit doesn't include is the brake lines from the proportioning valve down to the brakes. Then whatever wheels you decide. Go check it, if everything is up to par bring it home.

Re: 68 C10 on craigslist
I think he is more stating that it is drum rather than the fact it is 6 lug.

Re: 68 C10 on craigslist
The only real advantage to 5 lug is there are more wheel choices which is why people convert them over.

Re: 68 C10 on craigslist
My truck came out of palm springs originally...zero rust. Since this came out of AZ, this also helps minimize rust...I would go check it out

Yeah, he said the body is pretty solid and the paint is decent. I was gonna go this weekend to check it out but didn't make it.

Re: 68 C10 on craigslist
I would have had to find time if I had money for it and was in that area. Don't think it will last long.
