Im in the process of giving my truck a face lift for next year..my question is how many of have made your own cnotch? I'am going to be making my own and all ready have a idea how to but tips and tricks would help and make mylife easier haha!

Hey man if you need any spare fingers to damage, I'm your man.. I'm interested in doing mine as well, but stubborn and wanna check how it looks on another truck in person before I do anything to mine.. Elk Grove ain't too far from pocket..

This thread has alot of good info on notches and frame rail strength. A bolt in C-Notch like from CPP will allow the truck to drop enough that you'll need tall bumpstops to keep the differential from hitting the bed floor- kinda pointless to have that deep of a notch. There's a 2" pipe notch shown in the thread that keeps the factory frame rail strength for towing or hauling if needed.

At VGhope: kool! that's more help! I have another buddy that also want to join the fun! Haha! I all ready have a bolt in mini notch but I'm looking to get a bigger one to lay the rear down. I'm also not trying to make a over exaggerated cnotch. Im rather make my own than just go the easy route and buy one. Thanks for link.

We had talked ab doing one but ended up buying a CPP c-notch... Keep us updated...
