WA to CA shipping question

Anyone have any good recommendations on a reliable shipper up/down the west coast? I need to ship a 3/4 ton lwb from Yakima WA to Ridgecrest CA.

I have a truck sitting in McMinville OR that needs a ride down here also...maybe we can score a good "cheap" transporter. I am getting Uship.com bids and they have been very high so far.

Here is a pic of the truck I am wanting picked up....the trailer is not part of the deal though. Runs, drives, and is a county maintained truck.

Therein lies the problem with medium duty trucks. The buy in is cheap. Transportation/shipping, license/weight fees, parts, tires and such eat you up! Found this NAPCO but shipping is probably twice or more the cost of the truck. Did a quick check on jocko's truck and it came to about 1400 door to door over 1100 miles. Looks like a yall haul is out for sure. Nice truck though, going to put that crewcab on it?

yep - ironed out shipping today, ended up going with TNT Transportation out of Temeculah. $1500 driveway to driveway - professional company. Wait, let me withhold that statement until the truck is actually here...

I did the same thing Tim, concluded there was no money to be made by missing 3 days of work and paying a fortune to do all the work myself. So, paying someone else that does it professionally to do it for a grand total of $100 more. Not bad. Btw, TNT is a GSA govvie mover - so they must be good right (or maybe that just means they throw good parties in vegas). But anyway, very professional on the phone - and they do own their own trucks, they aren't a broker. I will never ever use a broker again after getting severely burned. Last resort only. If you move em often enough, it will eventually happen with a broker. Anyhoo... Now I just increased the investment in my truck by 50% of the buying price and I don't even have it yet!!

Wonder if they would save you and me both a couple hundred dollars if they had another transport south of there (mine in Oregon), you have a contact person or number for TNT?! Maybe could save both of us some $$
